Exodigo Appoints Rod Lacy as Chief Engineering Officer, USA, to Scale AI-Driven Engineering Operations

Veteran infrastructure leader to expand U.S. engineering operations and drive execution excellence

PALO ALTO, CALIF. and TEL AVIV — March 19, 2026 — Exodigo, the artificial intelligence (AI) and multi-sensing innovator transforming underground data intelligence and capital project delivery, today announced the promotion of Rod Lacy, P.E., to Chief Engineering Officer, USA. In this role, Lacy will lead the continued expansion of Exodigo’s U.S. engineering organization, driving execution excellence and scaling the company’s AI-powered engineering capabilities.

Lacy has played a key role in building and strengthening Exodigo’s engineering presence in the United States, combining deep infrastructure expertise with a strong focus on execution and impact. He brings more than 35 years of experience leading complex infrastructure programs across transportation, energy, water, and industrial sectors, and has directed more than $40 billion in major projects spanning transportation, oil and gas, rail, aviation, water, and commercial development.

Prior to joining Exodigo, Lacy held senior leadership roles at HNTB, Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers, and Burns & McDonnell, and spent over two decades at the Kansas Department of Transportation, where he directed two consecutive 10-year highway programs totaling more than $20 billion in constructed value—completing both on schedule and under budget with less than 1.5 percent in change orders. His experience working across owners, engineering firms, and contractors gives him a uniquely comprehensive perspective on infrastructure projects and their challenges. Across these roles, he has consistently delivered improved cost certainty, reduced risk, and strong schedule performance on complex, high-stakes programs.

“Rod’s leadership has been critical in bridging cutting-edge AI technology with practical engineering execution,” said Jeremy Suard, Co-Founder and CEO of Exodigo. “As Chief Engineering Officer, USA, he will continue to expand our engineering footprint, strengthen delivery capabilities, and help our partners realize the full value of AI in infrastructure projects.”

Lacy’s promotion builds on the foundation of Exodigo’s Engineering Services Division, a unified model that combines proprietary AI platforms with experienced engineering expertise to modernize capital project delivery. By embedding AI-driven insights directly into engineering workflows, Exodigo enables infrastructure owners, engineering firms, and contractors to deliver projects faster, more cost-effectively, and with reduced risk.

Under his leadership, the U.S. engineering team will further advance key service areas, including:

  • Design Automation – accelerating design iterations and producing accurate, construction-ready deliverables in days rather than weeks
  • Project Controls – leveraging AI to identify risks early, automate monitoring, and improve decision-making across complex programs
  • Construction Management – enhancing cost accuracy, automating quantity takeoffs, and improving visibility through real-time data integration

Exodigo’s differentiated approach combines proprietary AI, multi-sensing data collection, and engineering expertise to deliver high-resolution subsurface intelligence and actionable insights across the full project lifecycle. As infrastructure demands grow increasingly complex, Exodigo continues to expand its engineering capabilities in the U.S. and globally, helping clients modernize how projects are planned, designed, and executed through AI-powered solutions.
