Job description

We are looking for Head of Field Product Experiment that will lead the Field Product Experiments department as the group that connects development, Product and the field. The role is responsible for making sure products, capabilities and changes go through a structured field process: from early experiments, through Field V&V and Acceptance Test, and up to controlled Rollout to OPS IL and OPS US.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Hold the full picture of the Product Flow in the field, including dependencies, risks, gaps, owners and timelines.
  • Make sure each stage starts only after the previous stage is clearly closed, with documented decisions and managed open gaps.
  • Synchronize between R&D, System, Product, OPS, Maps, Analysis, Supply Chain, L&D and the department teams.
  • Create clear boundaries between Experiment, Field V&V, Acceptance Test and Rollout in order to avoid gray areas.
  • Approve product readiness at key stages, with focus on the transition from Design Freeze to Acceptance Test, readiness for Deployment Approval and scaled rollout.
  • Make sure there are no critical gaps, operational blockers or significant regressions before moving to the next stage.
  • Lead Deployment Approval and make sure all stakeholders arrive with one status picture: product readiness, operational readiness, training readiness and timeline.
  • Manage escalation when there is lack of clarity, product / operational risk, disagreement or a need for a senior decision.
  • Build and coach the department’s management layer, including real ownership transfer to the Team Leads and creation of working routines.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of managerial experience leading a team.
  • Experience in field-based operational roles.
  • Strong coordination and synchronization skills across multiple stakeholders, with excellent prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a broad, strategic perspective.
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and operational understanding, with experience collaborating with Operations, HR, and other organizational functions.
